There is a little park on the Somerset side with some parking and grass to rig on. The wind can be strong here (in 2008, it hasn't been...). The beach below the high tide mark is composed of painful round rocks.
Because it's close to the city, the water here can be dirty after a large rainfall.

In Somerset. Rt 195, exit 4 east, you're on 103. Go up the hill to the light and go right on Brayton Point Rd. Veer left before the power plant (O'Neil), take the last right on Angus, left at the end (Ripley), go to the end.

Data from this station is courtesy of NOAA's CO-OPS program. The sensor, on the lighthouse, may read high at times. Also, the sensor is on the Fall River side and the launch is on the Somerset side.
