* urban and small stream flood advisory for...
minor flooding of poor drainage areas in...
hartford county in northern connecticut...
tolland county in northern connecticut...
* until 915 pm edt
* at 607 pm edt...doppler radar indicated a swath of moderate rain
tracking through north central connecticut. showers will continue
to affect the area during early this evening. embedded
thunderstorms will produce localized heavier rain that will cause
minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas...mainly in
urban locations.
* this replaces the flash flood warning that will be allowed to
expire at 615 pm.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a flood advisory is issued for minor small stream flooding or ponding
of water in urban or other poor drainage areas. do not drive through
flooded roads.
