* arroyo and small stream flood advisory for...
central chaves county in southeast new mexico
* until 215 am mdt
* at 1012 pm mdt national weather service doppler radar indicated
slow moving thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall repeatedly
over the same areas over western chaves county. these storms have
the potential to produce rainfall at rates between 1 and 2 inches
per hour. this heavy rain will impact the rio hondo...berrendo
creek...salt creek...as well as other drainages leading to the
pecos river. highways 70...285...and 380 will also be impacted...
including roswell.
* strong flows and high water levels are expected in arroyos...small

hours to reach your location from upstream rain areas.

roadway. the water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
