this morning has resulted in roads being under water in the town
of hunter which is in southern mitchell county. radar estimates
and rain gauges indicate that some areas received 2 inches of rain
through the morning hours. this has resulted in flooding of low-
lying areas and could cause minor flooding along some small
streams and creeks as well.
* the heaviest rain has moved south of the advisory area...but
pockets of lighter rain remain and isolated heavy downpours could
