...red flag warning in effect from 1 pm this afternoon to 7 pm
edt this evening for long duration of low relative humidity for 
fire weather zone 070...

the national weather service in miami has issued a red flag
warning...which is in effect from 1 pm this afternoon to 7 pm edt
this evening. 

* affected area...fire weather zones 070...inland collier county.

* wind...light and variable early this morning becoming easterly
  less than 5 mph. south-southwesterly winds along southwestern
  areas late in the afternoon. 

* humidity...35% to 40% for four or more hours.

* energy release component (erc)...the florida forest service has
  determined that the fuel status supports a red flag warning.

* impacts...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  outdoor burning is not recommended.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. a combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
