* waves/seas...seas as high as 7 feet expected across the 
  straits of florida...especially within the gulf stream.

a small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots...
or seas of 7 feet or greater...are expected to produce hazardous
conditions for small craft. inexperienced boaters...especially
those with smaller vessels...should avoid operating in these
conditions.

the coastal waters of alabama and northwest florida out to
60 nm...

...dense fog advisory in effect until 6 pm cst this evening for
mobile bay...

.high pressure over the tennessee river valley combined with a
developing area of low pressure near texas will lead to a strong
southerly flow over the marine area. low visibilities over mobile bay
will persist until improving late this afternoon into early this
evening as southerly winds become northerly.
