for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake michigan
.synopsis...a large area of high pressure of 30.2 inches centered
over the eastern great lakes extends back across the southern
great lakes this evening. the high pressure will gradually slide
to the east as a trough of low pressure averaging 29.7 inches
continues to develop over the central plains. the high pressure
will still dominate lake michigan through thursday. another low
of 29.8 inches will drop out of the northern rockies and track
east to lake superior by friday evening...strengthening the
generally southerly winds over the lake. the southerly flow will
prevail over lake michigan through early next week.
