...the national weather service in portland has issued a flood 
warning for the following rivers in washington...

  grays river near rosburg affecting wahkiakum county

river forecasts are based on observed and forecast rainfall and
temperatures, and they include current and planned reservoir 
releases.

the next update for these locations will be issued by 1 pm this afternoon. 
precautionary/preparedness actions...

turn around, don't drown. don't drive into flooded areas. 
avoid walking near riverbanks during high water.

the national weather service in portland has issued a 

* flood warning for 
  the grays river near rosburg
* until further notice.
* at 5 am monday the stage was...12.4 feet / 8912 cfs.
* flood stage is 12.0 feet and flood flow is 8200 cfs.
* forecast...this river is forecast to continue to rise, and is expected to
  crest around 13.1 feet around 11 am this morning. the river will fall this
  afternoon, dropping below flood stage around 5 pm this afternoon. 
* impact...above 12 feet, expect some flooding of roads along and near
  the grays river, including roadway approaches to the altoona bridge
  over the grays, and portions of covered bridge road, barr-durrah 
  road, and loop road near rosburg and hwy 4. there is also widespread
  but minor flooding of farmland and low areas.

...the national weather service in seattle has issued a flood warning
for the following rivers in washington...

  skokomish river near potlatch affecting mason county.

.flood bulletin no. 1

the skokomish river will produce minor flooding this morning as a result
of heavy rain that has been falling over the south slopes of the
olympic mountains.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

do not drive cars...vans...or trucks through flooded areas. this is 
the cause of most flood related deaths in washington. be alert for 
rapid changes and monitor developments by listening to noaa weather 
radio or other local media.

the national weather service in seattle has issued a 

* flood warning for 
  the skokomish river near potlatch
* from this morning to this evening.
* at  5:15 am monday the stage was 16.8 feet.
* flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river will rise above flood stage around 8 am monday
  and crest near 17.1 feet around 10 am monday. the river will fall 
  below flood stage early this afternoon, but flooding is likely again by
  tuesday night.
* impact...at 17.0 feet, the skokomish river will cause widespread 
  flooding of pasture lands...with water flowing quickly over west 
  bourgault road and skokomish valley road.
