...gusty northeast winds over the coastal waters through saturday
morning...

.strong offshore flow will continue to bring strong gusty
northeast winds to the coastal waters. winds will be 15 to
25 knots with occasional gusts over 30 knots. strongest winds
will be between san clemente island and san mateo point. seas will
be choppy with wind waves up to 7 feet. the winds and seas will
very slowly diminish late tonight and saturday morning...but some
gusts around 25 knots could still occur saturday morning.

waters from san mateo point to the mexican border extending 30 to
60 nm out including san clemente island-

saturday...

* winds...northeast 15 to 25 knots with occasional gusts over 30
  knots overnight...then northeast 15 to 20 knots with gusts 25
  knots saturday morning.

* waves/seas...choppy seas around 7 feet in windy areas with a 
  period of 6 seconds or less. 

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
and combined seas of 10 feet or greater are expected to produce
hazardous wave conditions to small craft. inexperienced
mariners...especially those operating smaller vessels should
avoid navigating in these conditions.
