120 pm pdt thu apr 24 2014

...gusty west to northwest winds and choppy seas friday evening
through sunday morning

.a deep trough of low pressure will move through california
friday through saturday night...bringing strong northwest winds and
large waves to the coastal waters. the winds will increase friday
evening and continue strong through saturday night...with a few
gale force gusts possible in the outer waters....generating large
short-period wind waves. general swell will be elevated as well.
the combination of these strong winds and swell will make
conditions hazardous for small craft in both the inner and outer
waters. winds will diminish sunday afternoon...improving
conditions.

craft advisory...which is in effect from 5 pm friday to 11 am pdt
sunday.

* winds...northwest 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots.
