...slight chance of thunderstorms over the coastal waters through
monday night...
a cold low pressure system crossing the area will bring a slight
chance of thunderstorms to the coastal waters through late monday
night. late this evening through monday the hazard will shift to
the southern waters...but as a second wave comes over the area
monday afternoon...a slight chance of thunderstorms will spread
across the entire coastal waters area through late monday night.
any thunderstorms that form will be capable of producing locally
gusty winds and rough seas...dangerous lightning...heavy rainfall
with reduced visibility...and waterspouts. if a waterspout is
sighted...immediately head at a 90 degree angle from the apparent
motion of the waterspout.
before setting off and while underway...always listen to noaa
weather radio for the latest forecasts and statements.
