...the flood warning continues for the following rivers in 
  grays river near rosburg affecting wahkiakum county

river forecasts are based on observed and forecast rainfall and
temperatures. for the latest river stages and forecasts, visit 

the next update for this locations will be issued by 10 am thursday.

the flood warning continues for
  the grays river near rosburg.
* at 8 am wednesday the stage was...13.7 feet / 12000 cfs.
* flood stage is 12.0 feet and flood flow is 8200 cfs.
* forecast...this river crested at 15.3 feet at 11 pm tuesday. it 
  will fall through wednesday, but with additional rain expected 
  wednesday night and thursday, it is expected to remain just above
  flood stage until thursday afternoon.
* impact...expect continued flooding of low-lying roads along the 
  grays in the vicinity of highway 4, loop road, and altoona-pillar
  rock road.

  skokomish river near potlatch affecting mason county.
  satsop river near satsop affecting grays harbor county.
  cowlitz river at randle affecting lewis county.

                olympic and south west regions

scattered showers will continue today, then rain returns tonight
into thanksgiving day, but less than what we have seen recently. the
snow level will remain above 7500 feet.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

do not drive cars...vans...or trucks through flooded areas...this is 
the cause of most flood related deaths in washington. be alert for 
rapid changes and monitor developments by listening to noaa weather 
radio or other local media.

...flood warning extended until late friday night...

the flood warning continues for
  the skokomish river near potlatch
* until late friday night.
* at 11:45 am wednesday the stage was 17.8 feet.
* flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river crested at 17.9 feet at 7 am wednesday and 
  will continue to fall today. then the river will rise
  overnight thursday to about 17.7 feet before resuming its fall to
  below flood stage friday afternoon.
* impact...at 17.8 feet, the skokomish river will cause moderate 
  flooding...with deep and quick flood waters inundating some 
  residential areas...many roads...and much of the farm land in the 
  skokomish valley.
