Data from this station is courtesy of the Washington DOT. This sensor data is recorded on the Evergreen Point Floating Bridge (HWY 520) crossing Lake WA. According to local sailors/kiters, it is one of the best resources available for determining true windstrength on the lake.

Unfortunately, the format that the WADOT uses to present this information is very difficult to access. That's where local wind enthusiast, Rainer Leuschke, stepped in with his high-tech solution. Rainer was able to "decode" the graphical representation of the data and supply it to iWindsurf in it's raw form.

As a result, we will now be able to supply this important sensor information WIRELESSLY to all of our clients.
