.the cold front has swept through the region, and immediately
brought gusts of 40 knots over the marine areas. strong northwest
flow will continue today, with sustained winds around 30 knots
with frequent gusts above 40 knots through the day. offshore flow
will kick seas up to 10 to 14 feet for the gulf waters, with very
rough waters on the laguna madre. high pressure quickly moves 
into the northwest gulf this evening, allowing winds to drop to 
around 5 knots. seas will gradually decrease below advisory 
criteria by sunrise monday.

increased to around one nautical mile over the laguna madre and
near-shore gulf waters...so they dense fog advisory was allowed to
expire.

* winds...northwest winds 30 knots with frequent gusts to 40 knots
  and isolated gusts to 45 knots.

* waves/seas...seas will reach 10 to 13 feet across the gulf
  waters.
