...the urban and small stream flood advisory remains in effect until
930 pm cdt for henderson county...
additional bouts of brief heavy rain will impact areas that have
already seen considerable rainfall today. flooding of small creeks
and streams will continue. in addition...there will be some high
water on some streets...underpasses...and other areas of poor
drainage within the county.
the rain will gradually come to an end around nightfall...and the
water will steadily subside thereafter.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
motorists should slow down during heavy downpours to avoid losing
control. do not drive your vehicle into areas where water of an
unknown depth covers the road.
