flood statement
national weather service melbourne fl
954 am edt mon oct 19 2020

...the flood warning continues for the following rivers in florida...

st johns river near astor affecting volusia and lake counties.

.the saint johns river at astor is forecast to remain in minor flood
stage for the foreseeable future. a gradual increase in the river
level is expected through today to just below moderate flood stage
as brisk east to northeast winds and above normal high tides cause
water to backup along the upper and middle saint johns river basin.
levels are then forecast to remain nearly steady through this week
with a slight decrease in levels possible by this weekend.

for the st. johns river...including astor...minor flooding is
forecast.
