...patchy dense fog across portions of northeast new jersey...the
lower hudson valley...northern new york city...and interior
southwest connecticut through mid morning...

areas of fog have developed across northeast new jersey...interior
portions of southwest connecticut...the lower hudson valley and
northern portions of new york city. while visibilities are mainly
from 1 to 3 miles...there are patches with visibilities down to one 
quarter mile or less at times.

the fog should dissipate by late morning.

motorists should be on the lookout for rapidly changing
visibilities. if reduced visibilities are encountered...drivers
should reduce speed and use low beam headlights.
