...potential for easterly storm force 50 knot wind gusts and seas
building to 20+ feet late monday into tuesday...

a strong low pressure system will be tracking up the eastern
seaboard and into the new england coast early next week. this
storm has the potential to result in a period of easterly storm
force wind gusts of 50 knots later monday into early tuesday
across our waters. in addition...long easterly fetch may result in
seas building to 20+ feet across our eastern outer-waters. in
addition periods of heavy rain will result in very poor

this is a potential dangerous and life threatening storm for
mariners. please continue to monitor the forecasts over the next
day or two and be prepared return port this weekend.
