temperatures will fall to the teens below to 20 below overnight.
winds will be on the light side... however any occasional breeze
may drop the wind chill briefly to 25 to 30 below across the
northland... especially just before sunrise friday morning. if
venturing outdoors...take normal precautions against hypothermia

northwest winds. overnight lows are expected to range from 15
below to 25 below zero over north central wisconsin...10 below to
15 below zero across central wisconsin...to 5 below to 12 below
zero over northeast wisconsin. winds tonight will vary from calm
to 7 mph to produce pockets of wind chill readings of 20 to 30
below zero. if proper precautions are not taken...wind chills this
low can result in frost bite to exposed skin in 30 minutes. be
sure to dress appropriately if heading outside late tonight or
tomorrow morning.

...bitterly cold wind chills return tonight...
an arctic air mass will move into the region later tonight into
friday morning...along with an area of high pressure from the
west. winds will weaken as the high moves into the region. clear
skies tonight will promote cooler conditions as well. wind chill
values will approach 20 below zero in our forecast area. the
coldest wind chills will be between 4 and 7 am.
if going out tonight...be sure to dress in layers and limit
exposure.
