for waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on lake erie

waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...
a weak cold front drifts southward across lake erie through this
early afternoon and should then move farther southward to mid ohio
by daybreak thursday. behind the front, a high pressure ridge 
averaging 30.10 inches builds from the north. on thursday, the 
ridge should exit eastward. simultaneously, the front should move
back north as a warm front and then stall near the southern shore
of lake erie. this front should remain near the southern 
lakeshore through friday and then be followed by the eastward 
passage of a cold front across ohio and western pennsylvania 
friday night into saturday as a low of 29.40 inches moves 
southeastward from the northwestern great lakes toward the mid- 
atlantic states. behind the low and front, a ridge averaging 30.10
inches should build from the north-central united states through 
this weekend. the ridge should begin to exit eastward this monday.
