1/3 of the wave spectrum. occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.synopsis...
low pressure of 29.60 inches will move northeastward from the 
central great plains to southwestern quebec by sunday evening and
drag an occluded front eastward across lake erie on sunday. behind
the front, a ridge averaging 30.50 inches should move eastward
across the lake erie region sunday night through monday. during
monday night through tuesday, a low should deepen to 29.40 inches
as it wobbles northeastward from the northwestern gulf to atlantic
waters near the delmarva peninsula. simultaneously, the low will 
extend a trough averaging 30.00 inches over lake erie. on tuesday 
through wednesday, a ridge averaging 30.50 inches should build 
from the lower ohio valley and vicinity before a cold front sweeps
southeastward across lake erie wednesday night. behind the cold 
front, a ridge averaging 30.20 inches should build from the upper 
midwest through thursday.
