a 30.5 inch high becoming centered over minnesota this afternoon 
slides over the great lakes basin tonight into monday as it weakens 
to 30.4 inches. by monday afternoon, a 29.7 inch low develops over 
north dakota, eventually moving over lake superior tuesday morning 
as it deepens to 29.5 inches. a second, stronger clipper low forms 
tuesday over the montana/canada border, absorbing the previous low 
tuesday night at 29.2 inches as it approaches lake michigan. the low 
lifts through southern ontario on wednesday while weak 30.1 inch 
ridging traverses the plains. the low quickly ejects past the st. 
lawrence seaway on thursday as high pressure over the canadian 
rockies builds to 30.9 inches, eventually dropping into the northern 
plains on friday.
