the flood warning continues for
  the mississippi river at vicksburg
* from tuesday may 09 to saturday may 20.
* at  1:00 pm sunday the stage was 34.4 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* forecast...heavier rainfall than forecast across missouri and illinois 
  has produced a higher river crest. the river will rise above flood stage
  tuesday may 09 and will continue to rise to near 45.5 feet  tuesday may 16.
* flood history...this crest compares to a previous crest of 46.0 feet
  on jul 26 2015.
* impact...at 45.0 feet...ford and kings subdivision at williams 
  street begin to flood.
* impact...at 44.6 feet...residence on williams street in vicksburg 
  begins to flood.
* impact...at 42.0 feet...bunge grain facility near st. joseph 
  louisiana ceases loading operations. chickasaw road is going under 
  water just west of chickasaw community.
* impact...at 39.5 feet...the long lake road to eagle lake road 
  becomes impassable about 1 mile north of the long lake community.
* impact...at 36.5 feet...water begins to affect the long lake 
  community. the low road to kings island becomes impassable.
* impact...at 35.0 feet...several thousand acres of farm, 
  agricultural, and bottom land flood. in the yazoo backwater area 
  north of the city, hunting camps and forested land begin to flood.

  the bayou des cannes near eunice.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* at  9:00 am sunday the stage was 18.8 feet.
* moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* forecast...the river will continue rising to near 20.5 feet by 
  early wednesday morning then begin falling.
* impact...at stages near 21.0 feet...major flooding can be expected
  with an estimated 36 structures affected by flooding. several 
  secondary roads are flooded near the bayou.
* impact...at stages near 20.6 feet...it is estimated that 30 
  structures near the bayou will flood with several secondary roads 
  flooded near the bayou.
* impact...at stages near 19.8 feet...it is estimated that 18 
  structures near the bayou will be flooded. 
* impact...at stages near 16.0 feet...minor flooding begins along 
  the bayou with a few structures right along the bayou threatened.

  is cancelled.
* at  9:15 am sunday the stage was 18.0 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* forecast...rise above flood stage by tuesday early afternoon and 
  continue to rise to near 23.0 feet by thursday early afternoon.
* impact...at stages near 22.0 feet...minor agricultural flood

* at 121 pm cdt, doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. this will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  around one inch of rain has already fallen.

additional rainfall of 2 to 3 inches is expected over the area. this 
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

  overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in
  the advisory area. up to two inches of rain have already fallen.
