This Wind Vector Fx map displays forecasted surface winds at
specific times. Please refer to the time and date in the upper right corner
of the map. Indicated time is VA- tidewater local time. The vectors (arrows)
represent prevailing wind direction. A wind vector pointing down represents
wind blowing from north to south, and is commonly referred as a "north
wind". Please refer to color legend below for indication of wind velocity.
