flood watch
national weather service kansas city/pleasant hill mo
241 pm cdt thu aug 25 2016
...another round of storms could lead to flooding tonight...
.a frontal boundary that has stalled out across east-central kansas
into central missouri will provide a focus for renewed thunderstorm
activity tonight. conditions are prime for locations to experience
flooding issues given the rain that fell last night into earlier
today...plus the copious amounts of atmospheric moisture readily
available...leading to efficient rain producers...as well as the
potential for storms to train over the same areas repeatedly.
