...prolonged areas of dense fog on the near shore waters of lake
michigan through at least thursday evening...
.a warm...moist airmass moving over the cooler nearshore waters
of lake michigan...will continue to produce areas of dense fog.
there will be times where the visibilities may briefly improve...
especially during the afternoon hours. however...the current
weather pattern is not expected to change at least through the
end of the work week.

...dense fog advisory remains in effect until 7 pm cdt thursday...
* visibility...under one mile...with some locations under 1/4
mile at times. some minor improvement in visibilities are
possible at times...especially during the afternoon hours.
* conditions remain favorable for the dense fog to last through
the end of the week.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one mile. inexperienced mariners...
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.
