.synopsis...a 29.3 inch low will lift northeast from the saint
lawrence valley today while a 30.3 inch high over the central
plains will build across the ohio valley this afternoon and
tonight. the surface high will become centered over the saint
lawrence valley late tuesday and tuesday night...then will move
east where it will become anchored in the vicinity of nova scotia
wednesday and thursday. high pressure will once again become
centered over the lower great lakes for friday and saturday.

is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along
with the average height of the highest 10 percent of the waves
which will occasionally be encountered.
.synopsis...a large area of high pressure averaging 30.3 inches
centered over the mid missouri valley will steadily drift east.
this ridge center will then reach the eastern great lakes tuesday
night. then the ridge will remain over new england through the
weekend. a trough of low pressure averaging 29.9 inches will
develop over the foothills of the rockies on monday...but will
make little or no eastward progress into next weekend.
