...dense sea fog expected to redevelop...

.southerly winds will continue to bring in warm moist air over the
relatively cooler gulf shelf waters allowing sea fog to develop. 
the wind speeds will also relax enough that the sea fog will
become widespread and dense. the sea fog that forms is expected to
lift by mid morning wednesday as winds increase.

the national weather service in lake charles has issued a dense
fog advisory, which is in effect until 9 am cst wednesday. 

* visibility...widespread 1 nm and locally near zero at times.

* impacts...hazardous marine operations.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one mile. inexperienced mariners, especially
those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these
