through today while two areas of low pressure merge as a 29.1
inch low over the midwest states. this low will then shift north
across the upper great lakes tonight while rapidly deepening to
28.5 inches. the strong storm system will then move to james bay
monday. the storm system will then quickly exit across northern
quebec on tuesday while a 30.3 inch high will build across the
lower ohio valley.

which will occasionally be encountered.
.synopsis...low pressure of 29.3 inches over southwest saskatchewan
will move east along the canadian border toward lake superior by
this evening...as it slowly weakens. another low over the southern
plains will also lift northeast toward illinois by this evening. the
two lows will merge over lake michigan tonight and begin to rapidly
intensify...deepening to 28.8 inches as it nears the mackinac
straits by early monday morning. the low will track northeast into
quebec monday night deepening a bit farther to 28.7 inches. weak
high pressure transits the lake tuesday...followed quickly by a 29.6
inch low that will pass over the lake later wednesday. strong high
pressure around 30.5 inches moves into the northern plains behind
this low.

will slide toward the western great lakes today before merging with
another low pressure system of 29.2 inches lifting north across the
middle mississippi river valley tonight. the newly formed
low will then deepen to 28.9 inches as it tracks
northeast...crossing eastern upper michigan monday afternoon and
arriving over western quebec monday night. in its wake...a 30.1 inch
high pressure ridge will move to the western great lakes tuesday
evening. a low pressure trough of 29.8 inches will move from the
northern plains to the western great lakes on wednesday and to the
lower great lakes thursday. at the same time high pressure of 30.6
inches will build southeast from canada into the dakotas.
