.a potent storm system will bring the potential for strong winds
on sunday. look for winds to increase near sunrise and continue
into the afternoon.

...wind advisory remains in effect from 4 am to 2 pm pst sunday...

* winds...southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. 
  isolated gusts around 50 mph will be possible on the highest, 
  exposed terrain.

* timing...early sunday morning through sunday afternoon.

* impacts...difficult travel conditions for high profile 
  vehicles. loose, light weight objects may become airborne. 
  local power outages will be possible from minor tree damage. 
  blowing and drifting snow will be possible in areas where 
  there is snow on the ground.

* locations...pullman, colfax, rosalia, la crosse, oakesdale, 
  tekoa, uniontown, and pomeroy.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a wind advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. use extra caution.
