...small craft advisory now in effect until 10 am cdt thursday...
* winds...northeast winds of 10 to 15 knots will increase late
this evening to 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. the
winds will then gradually decrease late tonight and become less
than 10 knots by late thursday morning.
* waves/seas...waves of 2 to 4 feet will increase to 3 to 5 feet
after midnight. the waves will gradually subside thursday
morning.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
this small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to
33 knots are producing hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
