...one last bout of snowfall...
snow is gradually exiting the state but there is one more area of
moderate snowfall that extends from the des moines metro area
southeastward to pella and knoxville. visibilities will drop to
less than a mile in this band. additional accumulations could
amount to a half inch. as temperatures drop the snowfall will not
melt off roadways so roads will become slick. slow down and allow
extra time for traveling.

...minor snow accumulations possible overnight...
light rain will mix with snow this evening...and change over to
all snow by late evening. minor accumulations will be possible
late this evening and overnight. the best chance for accumulating
snow will be along and south of a line from leitchfield to
campbellsville to stanford...with up an inch of snowfall
possible. air temperatures above freezing...and even warmer
ground and pavement temperatures...will lessen the impacts to
roadways...but slick spots will still be possible.
if traveling overnight or early thursday morning...continue to
monitor the latest forecasts and changing weather conditions.
