Doug's was epic 4-6 PM. Super smooth for such high wind (30+).

may sucked this year. most of june wasnt great either. but still, i've sailed probably 35 days this summer and the biggest sail i own is a 5.8. I dont bike or ride dirt bikes either and i've been perfectly content. I wont be here in september but it's usually a pretty decent month for wind so i hear. You're obviosly an iwindsurf member, so use this wonderful tool the internet provideds us and go where the wind is blowing hardest, steadiest, or whatever kind of wind floats your boat.
I woke up at noon today, made nachos for breakfast and still sailed for close to 4 hours at dougs today. Pretty hard to beat the feeling of jibing on a greyhound bus sized swell on your sinker and planing out. not sure where else in the world you're going to get that feeling. |
