By midnight tonight we should have another sensor, this one a NWS sensor, on iwindsurf.com for Leo in Southern California. Having 2 sensors in the Leo area may help you making the go/no go decision. Please send me feedback about how useful it is over the next few weeks. Even it is not a a perfect location the more info. the better.
It's location: Elev: 50 ft; Latitude: 34.0456; Longitude: -118.935

Will you have real time or near real time access to that sensor? I've been monitoring it at http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/queryFx?LCL for a long time, but that page is updated only once an hour with about a 45-minute lag. |

We will have to see the update pattern since all we can do is post the feed the NWS gives us. I notice that at 7AM we still do not have the data up. Hopefully it will be there soon.
