| In January 2002 I will move to NC. I dont know if there are some kitesurf spots in the neighbourhood of RTP? If not, what are the most nearby kitesurf locations? |

| I lived in North Carolina for 20 years. In the Research triangle Park the only place to sail is Jordan Lake which is completely surrounded by trees and not a good bet. You will need to drive to the coast. I would recommend the MoreheadCity area. Approximately 180 mi. there is plenty of land to explore. I would recommend getting a small boat so that you can get access to the Outer Banks around Cape lookout. Other areas such as Wilmington will be to crowded and the Cape Hatteras area is about a six hour ride. |
