Considering a trip to Caberete in July, and looking for feedback on conditions, gear & lodging.
Conditions in July?
Velas gear & instruction? (I had a great trip with them in Aruba)
Lodging. Id be going solo, & see the Albatross & El Magnifico as options. Comments?
Kiteboarding? I might give it a first try.
Anything other info? |

Cabarette rocks in July and its a very forgiving place to get into wave sailing.I sailed with vela there and the centre was well run and efficient.when i was there 2 summers ago kiting was just picking up,there were a few kiters with there own equipment in the bay.now i believe vela offers kiting instruction.the only draw back for learning is the windline is fairly exaggerated and the water gets deep quickly.margarita is the number one spot to learn kiting.
Other options include a Nathalie Simon Centre which provides ahd boards and neil pryde sails, which operates out of the hotel koaba. |
