on my 295 130l board, i am wondering what the best position for the mast is, im 150lbs and not too tall, i am not really sure what to think about on where to position the mast, forward, back or centered? i am short so the foot straps always seem to far back for me to reach, any suguestons?

Every board is different but I find most boards sail well with the mast-base center to back toward your foot straps. Of course if you are using a huge sail then you will have to move your mast-base forward. Play around with it a bit and youll figure out where your board sails the best.

That .. and post the question in the How To section. It will get more appropriate attention there.
