I sail on a Bic Metal Rock with a stock fin approx. 27cm with a vent slot. I am unsure what position the fin should be in within the slot of the box. Also would a larger fin help me point higher and minimize wash out? If so what size is recomended? Thanks

basically what I had to say, but some added comments:

With an adjustable fin slot, set the fin with the leading edge right behind the rear strap. The rear foot puts pressure on the fin to keep it in the water, and help reduce the spinout.

You will need to experiment with sizes and shapes to see what you want when you sail.

what are the conditions you are sailing in?

Just think -- Keep foot pressure on that fin!

everything else splat said..ditto.

why do you think his board wont work? It worked fine when it came out!

You should be able to get this board working as long as its in good shape.
