Bought an RRD MPE 254. Love the board, hate the straps. Problem is you cant find replacement screws, seems they use an esoteric euro thread size, none available at the shop, where the Chap stripped my screw heads using a power drill to insert them. Any suggestions on after market straps, finding screws? |

If the problem is stripped screw heads I have an easy solution. Use a Dremel rotary tool to make a straight line across the top of the screw with a metal grinding/cutting bit, make sure it is big enough for a flathead screwdriver to fit in (If you dont have a dremel tool go to a friend or loal hobby shop that does). Now you have Flathead screws! Just pull out the ol flathead screwdriver to tighten/loosen them. |
