Our club needs info on the different Wind services out there.
It seems like iWindsurfing.com is the ticket but I know there are others like - WindSight , Microforecasting ,Windpage etc.
What are the differences in the services they offer and how good are they. Are there others I didnt list ?
We are located on the east coast north of Jacksonville Fla.
There is a iWindsurf sensor at Huguanot Park near Fernidina Beach Fla.

Log onto rec.windsufing and check out the discussions there about wind services (look back a month or so, and do a Power Search on the different services by name). I think youll quickly answer your question. (Im not avoiding your question, but youre in the wrong forum to get an open discussion of this topic, for some very valid reasons.) But why look further if this local (?) park has iWindsurf? We here sure like it, and many of us, like me, are paying for it (to get the paging service).

If that fails to answer your question, e-mail me at isobars@earthlink.net.

I found a site intellicast.com click on sailcast it gives you wind forcast throughout the US. On the east coast Hatteras is the place. If you have not sailed there yet plan a trip, very inexpensive with the best wind on the east cost (spring and fall best ) HAPPY SAILING AND HAVE FUN
