MAUI WINDSURF ALERT
Your best windsurfing sites on Maui ( Camp one, Sprecks and others )are threatened by the expansion of the Kahului airport. There is a lot of pressure from the construction industry, the hotel industry, the tourism industry to turn Maui into another Honolulu-Waikiki circus. Save your favorite windsurfing sites by getting involved. Check the SIERRA CLUB and other web site to stop the madness. Keep Maui beautiful.

I am happy to say that I was wrong. In fact, the expansion is on hold. In other words, it is posponed. Check: Malama I Ka Honua, April-June00 at: http:/www.hi.sierraclub.org
It wouldnt be a bad idea to become member of the SC to help fight development to keep Maui beautiful.
