| Check out the video, Short Board Sailing Techniques 2 by John Guay. Its the best trainer flick around. It came out in 1989 and sold for twenty bucks. Check out bigwinds.com. They still may sell it or know where to get it. The main gig to doing a high speed jibe is to bend your knees and use your legs as a shock absorber. Its a cool video and was filmed in The Gorge. Great trouble shooting section, well worth the twenty bucks. |

| bend your knees and LOOK AHEAD. Have you ever ridden your mountain bike at a tree? Dont look at the tree, and you wont hit it. During a jibe, dont look at the water. Youll see the bumps and tense up and blow it. Look ahead, at the horizon, and youll come out clean and planing |
