Take a vacation to the Gorge. We have had two days of 3.0, one day of 4.0, and today was a 4.0/4.5 day. Tomarrow is forecasted to blow.

No, its the clear area inland of the fog layer that sucks ... and thats a GOOD thing if theres any water there.

And rea;ize that this great Gorge wind is just a little gusty. The central Gorge has seen its shareof 3.0 moments, all right, but the wind there has consisted mostly of averages in the 20s with lulls near 10 and gusts to and over 40. Its been less variable out east, where 4.7s and some 4.2s have been common, but its still been unusually gusty out there. I have seen some guys try 3.2s, but they quickly jumped back to their 3.7s or 4.2s. We really need sone desert heating to steady out the wind, but its been downright cool in the desert most of the summer. Nice livin, and quite a bit of very good sailin, but not the classic summer patterns yet.

Send us some of your fog, and spread it from Portland to just west of Swell City. Wed appreciate it.

The fog is worth waiting for to clear. The Gorge gets boring after around two days anyway (you can only gawk at gorge tubes so long). Besides, who would invite more people to vacation in their back yards. Doenst make sense.

central gorge sucks, out east is best except for those dog people. You sail in gusty sites and rig under powered like most gorge dweebs. Rig big and stop whinning. Stay off my swell!!!

Sure, lets all pack up and leave the coast to go hang around a bunch of ego maniac kooks like this one and dodge barges all day. No thanks dickhead, I could not care less about how small your sail was yesterday or any other day for that matter. If I want a 3.5 day Ill just go to San Simeon to get blown off the water. Yeah Ill go to Oregon, but only to smoke dank and ski the cascades. You can have fun with the crowds and dog shit.

Dude, I was in Maui when gorge sailors came packing their gorge made sails and the so called locals talked their shit. I also seen it in southern Oregon and Northern California back in the early 80s. I have sailed in too many countries to ever consider myself a local to any area. People like you give the sport of windsurfing a bad image.
