Why dont all you dog owners keep sailing sites free of dog crap by keeping your dogs at home. Get a clue.

Not to mention the PIGS who leave dirty diapers on the beach. Sailed yesterday off some new freshly-mowed grass, and right there were two didies full of rugrat poop. Jeez, but Im looking forward to the first time I get a chance to put a diaper back in the car it came from, and lock the doors.

I take my dog sailing with me almost everyday. When he is at the beach most of the time he looks more like a rug than a dog, ie he is either sleeping under a bush or laying in the sand. I carry a shovel and after derigging I clean up whatever I find on the beach...my dog or somebody elses. A well trained dog, owned by somebody who respects other beach users is fine. Part of the joy of sailing is coming to shore for a break, throwing a few sticks and relaxing with my dog. BUT....for the most part I agree with you, few owners really take the time needed to have their dogs welcome at the beach. There are a fair number of Sail Stomping, barking, crapping dogs out there.

gimmen stink finger oh yea hehehe! this is what you do! when you see the smelly mutt pinching off a moon fish , when no is looking get something out of the trash to pick up the crap,take it over to there car and you scrap off under there lift up type door handle , and then hang and watch and when they go to get in there car they lift that handle fell the slimmy crap and 9 out 10 times the first thing they do is smell there STINKY FINGERS HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!!!!
