| I sail at Sauble Beach anytime I can get up there, and as far as August winds go, its usually 2-3 6.0 days or better / week. We also often get what we call the five oclock wind which is the one which tempts you away from dinner after a skunky day, and can blow 6.0 - 5.0 until sunset mostt any clear, hot August day. As for the Pinery, I seem to remember the beach being kind of rocky? Go for public beaches, there are many on the Lake Huron shore. |
