You know, the onshore, dumpy beach right on the west coast of S.F.

I live right near and am tempted to give it a go. I am a pretty good wave sailor and have other onshore experiences - its always prettyhard though.

So I am wondering if this beach is even sailable, and in what conditions and also WHERE is thebest launch place.

If you have to ask you might not be up for it... people sail out there all the time... its choppy, sharky, and generally you will be all alone. Ive had many good days on NW winds... good luck.
