Driving along the river the other day, heard Crazy by Gnarles Barkley, then Def Leppard, Pour Some Sugar on Me on the radio. All the song associations in my mind to Jake Miller's videos... freestyle at the Hatchery, and huge Mitch Gingrich back loops and Fredrick Steineck doubles and rail grab shove-its.

Hard to believe that it has been 13(?) years since the epicsessions.tv Jump Off world premiere video event in Hood River. That was awesome! Boom!

Were you here in the '80s and '90s ... even in the '00s out east? Have the Corridor and near east gotten even CLOSE to that zoo again?

The zoo is back, the corridor sites have been parked-out many times this summer. I'm pretty sure there are now many more wind-water sport participants than there were pre'2000. Back then there were only windsurfers. Now you have kiters, wingers, downwind paddlerers and foilers. It's great to see all the fun activities that our wind and water provide, (unless you're a power boater.)
