seeking Severne Psycho reviews

Hey all,
I'm seriously considering swapping my 2016 Fanatic Skate BGS 100 (the longer more all rounder board 235 cm x 63.5 cm for a 2021 Severne Psycho 102. I'm 160#, most commonly sail a 5.6 and 1/2 fresh water, hence my focus on the 102 not the 92. I'm doing old school carving moves eg. duck jibes, down and upwind 360's, push tacks, light wind duck tacks but working up to aerials having started some loop and flaka attempts this season. I've heard great things about the board from one of the Severne riders at a shop I'm talking to, but looking for some personal feedback from those that own one regarding it's carving, planing, upwind, tacking and handling chop. I know aerials will be much better than my Skate.

I made this EXACT swap! 2015 Fanatic Skate 100 l. BGS ---> 2019 Severne Psycho 102 l. The Psycho is an expensive board, but it's been worth EVERY penny! I really liked the Skate, but the Psycho does everything really well. Super great at sliding, jibing, jumping...I just love it. It's also suprisingly well built: taken a number of pretty hard knocks on the nose and no damage. I've probably got about 80 sessions on it and it's one tough board. Mike Burns at Ocean Air Sports (Hatteras) really sold me on it. He's got some videos at their store website that break it down.
Fin makes a BIG difference on freestyle boards. I have a 2016 Tabou Twister 90 litre that was almost unsailable with the stock 16 cm FS fin. Got a K4 19 cm "Bubble" fin and it completely transformed that board.
Stock Severne fin with the Psycho is "OK", I either use a 20 cm K4 Bubble or 19 cm Maui Ultra. The Makani "Koi" is also a nice fin.

No review here but I would rather go with Patrik Airstyle, which looks sick.

or maybe Starboard Ignite which is ready to foil board. Both are much shorter than Severne and don't have square noses.
Severne just started building boards and reviews are limited so obviously they are better than any other brands especially if Mike Burns says they are. LOL

Also no review here. Two things to consider inquiring about:

1. How does the Psycho compare to your skate for old school carving moves. My observation years ago when I went form an "all-round" Board to a dedicated one is the noticable reduction in carving. An ok compromise is you prioritize on other stuff.

2. Handling chop. Again, I noticed the "all round" is better for this. I notice some folks have different levels of tolerance on this and it depends on the kind of move you're working on.

I'm sure newer Board is the way to go and the Psycho looks awesome. I might get it but I have a 2013 freestyle Board that is more capable than I am (plataued at Spocks years ago but still having much fun with it in the right conditions).

One thing I noticed in my Board switch is the mast is closer to the footstraps. This is nice for being in switch stance (eg coming out of a vulcan). I think the Skate BGS is based on a 10+ year old shape where the distance was longer.

Starboard Ignite is a great board, I think it's a lateral move from the Severne Psycho, but the Ignite is $500 more expensive. You can negotiate a better price if you can plan a windsurfing trip around picking it up to avoid shipping.

I ordered a psycho 102 yesterday. Unfortunately won’t be able to give feedback likely til spring 2021 as winter is coming. Hope we’ll have a random warm SW’erly windy day to try it out once I get it.
