The fix: as your fin clears the water, look straight up at the sky. Your board nose will follow your gaze if you're hooked in (if you jump unhooked, stop it!). Then as you start to descend, look ahead at your landing spot. Not only will your board follow your gaze again (good thing, that; otherwise you'd still be up there ) , but the fully planing landing will be so gentle you will barely, if at all, hear or feel it. That works at 3 feet and at mast high. |
