Thanks GT, but there is no danger of that happening. I only become concerned when people I respect attempt to chasten me. To your point, however, I find it troubling that so many view the most vulgar, strident voices to be admirable. We have relied upon women to be a moderating, civilizing influence on society and a much needed balance to the testosterone fueled excesses of their male counterparts. I think that still largely occurs, but many of the most visible females have become shrieking harridans, spewing out crass epithets in an endless stream of victimhood to the cheers of ignorant followers. These are not actions I regard as admirable, or a model for future generations. The multitude of women who get on with life in a caring, compassionate and thoughtful way are the ones that deserve our admiration. Fortunately these are the females most of us encounter. Hopefully, impressionable young people will recognize the difference between endeavors that are truly inspiring and those that are self serving boorishness.
