Good deal on straps?

Oh I just thought of something, are your booties wider? Some have the sole protruding out to the sides while others are narrower.

I like the X-Laces barefoot, but they are so bulky that I can't widen them enough to use them reliably with booties.

I just took a close look at DaKine Primos and Supremos yesterday, and can't comprehend using them as is. I might use that outer cover velcro for fastening a tow strap to an Abrams tank, but, my GOD ... why use it on footstrap padding? Oh, I have a couple of them in use, but I cover at least 80% of the outer cover velcro with duct tape so I don't need vice grips, a crow bar, an energy bar, and five literally bloody minutes to remove just one outer cover. The vice grips and crowbar rattle around too much in the Craftsman toolbox required to carry that $#!+ around on the water.
