Bottom line, Dems screwed up and did not play their hand well. My guess is they really didn't want to play this card, (because of the nasty nature of destroying a mans image) saved it as a last ditch effort and it is just too obvious of a hit job with a weak argument from 4 decades ago.

They should have brought it up during the hearings to have an iota of credibility.

Passed with flying colors? I don't think so, even before the Ford issue was raised. In an anticipated committee vote, Kavanaugh would have been moved forward based on a 11 to 10 split along party lines.

In the questioning episodes that I witnessed, I'm with the 10 Democrats who will ultimately vote against him. Kavanaugh was clearly not straight forward and honest in many of his answers to important questions, and it was so obvious. In my view, he was a slippery weasel dishonestly dodging and weaving his way through the process. He's definitely not Supreme Court material worthy of a lifetime appointment.

On top of that, Republicans are handling the whole process very poorly in an attempt to ram Kavanaugh through. The idea of proceeding with the absence of important documentation and history from Kavanaugh's time in the White House was unconscionable. As the Republican ringleader in this fiasco, Grassley's performance has been pathetic at best.

More history and documents than the LAST FIVE APPOINTEES combined.

He passed with flying colors and the loser dems had nothing on him except the fact they don't like his conservative leanings. Sorry that's not how it works.

the lowest percentage of available documents ever put forth.... what is he hiding... well attempted rape, perjury and more. again that i bought for my friend baseball tickets is why i had 60-200k debt that disappeared mysteriously is getting old...

again this is a lifetime appointment. a lawyer that perjured to advance to a judge is despicable. release all documents...

You're wrong mat-ty, Kavanaugh is going to move ahead based on a strict Republican party line vote. With a one point advantage in the Republican's favor, there is little that can be done by committee level Democrats.

However, the play in the arena may be a bit different when it comes to the complete Senate vote. Folks are really watching how amateurish Republicans are handling this, particularly women. With an election coming up, a lot is at stake, and Republicans can ill afford to make the wrong choices, regardless of their overeager desire to stack the Supreme Court.

If you think for one second the American people can't see what's happening here you are dumber than Mac. Dems fuck up big time....
