Remember it was now shown justice Thomas basically lied ie perjured himself and lied about what said, Anita Hill was shown to be telling the truth as Thomas's ex girlfrind finally came forward just a year or so ago after Thomasas wife went public again demanding Anita Hill to Apoligize and set the record straight. Well the ex who did not come forward had enough and finally came forward saying what Hill described is familiar to her as That is what Thomas liked to discuss. That shut the mouth of Thomas's wife. And we have not seen her or Thomas to date apologize.
Thomas too is in the club of pussy grabber enablers...

mat-ty, I think that you forgot that Scalia died on February 13. That's a lot more than just a few months before the November election, especially given the fact that Obama would remain our president until January 20, 2017. That essentially a year after Scalia's death.
What McConnell did was unconscionable and unprecedented, but we all know that he is a person without any honor and integrity. History will not treat him kindly.
With a major election just 7 weeks away, maybe the vote on Kavanaugh should be postponed until after the election. You know, Americans could decide that Democrats should be the majority in the Senate to turn the nonsense around. But no, Republicans feel the need to give Americans the middle finger and rush through Kavanaugh's appointment. Like I said, that is how Republicans roll when the power in in their fist.

Of course Bard doesn't give his source--but this lead pops up on all kinds of far right sites. Conspiracy theories, misogyny and rush to judgement talking points trotted out for our WWB's.
The issue here is due diligence. It is rare, but not unheard of, for a woman to make a false claim of sexual predation. It is more common when the woman has something to gain economically. This doesn't appear to be the case here. When you combine this with Kavanaugh's background as a pretty hard partisan, and possible defender of waterboarding, McConnell's reluctance to have Trump appoint him because of his paper trail, and the suppression of a large number of his writings, I think it is time to take a deep breath. Not that a Republican outside of Flake will do so.

we need a nonright winger leading the treason of the trump people. even with the 7 or so convictions, a child was 13 raped by trump and he has not sued her for filing a case against him.
What Kenny boy star got zero indictments by grand juries of all Clintons top people. Not a single conviction. and it was what 6 years of investigating the Clintons at that point.
Think what could be done if we had an adversary to the right wing running this investigation and all issues trump...
